Step 1

Connect Your Trezor Device

Unbox your Trezor wallet and connect it to your computer or mobile device using the included cable. Your device screen will power on with a welcome message.

Step 2

Install Trezor Suite

Trezor Suite is your dashboard for managing assets, installing apps, and validating transactions.

Download the official Trezor Suite for your system.
Install and launch the app.
Click "Get Started" to begin the setup.

Step 3

Initialize Your Device

Select "Set up as new device" and follow the on-screen instructions to create a secure PIN code. This PIN protects your wallet from unauthorized access.

Step 4

Write Down Your Recovery Seed

Critical: Your recovery seed is the ONLY way to restore your wallet. Keep it secure and offline.

Your Trezor will display a 24-word recovery seed. This is the only way to restore your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.

Write all 24 words in order on paper.
Store it offline in a safe place.
Never share it or store it digitally.

Step 5

Confirm Your Recovery Seed

The device will ask you to verify your recovery seed to ensure it's correctly recorded. Accuracy is critical.

Step 6

Add Cryptocurrency Accounts

After setup, open Trezor Suite, connect your device, and add accounts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other supported cryptocurrencies.

Step 7

Receive and Send Crypto

You can now safely receive crypto:

Click "Receive" in your Trezor Suite.
Confirm the address on your Trezor device.
Send crypto from your exchange or wallet to this address.

Step 8

Keep Your Assets Safe

Update firmware and Trezor Suite regularly.
Use only official Trezor resources.
Never share your PIN or recovery seed.
Store your recovery seed securely offline.
